Rapid Improvement at Baildon Glen Recognised by Ofsted

Baildon Glen Primary School has been praised by Ofsted for its rapid improvement since joining Exceed Academies Trust, with inspectors recognising decisive leadership, an ambitious curriculum, and a stronger culture of safeguarding and inclusion.
The May 2025 inspection highlighted significant progress, with the school now rated as Good in Personal Development, Leadership & Management, and Early Years Provision. Pupils were described as “happy and safe,” with inspectors highlighting the school’s inclusive ethos and growing sense of pride.
Positive curriculum changes are already having a strong impact. However, inspectors noted that attendance and consistency in behaviour remain priorities for improvement.
Headteacher Joanna Jackson said:
“This report is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, pupils, and families. We are thrilled with the positive feedback and remain committed to making Baildon Glen the very best it can be.”
