At Exceed Academies Trust, our education work is focused on improving life chances by developing strong schools, supporting our workforce and contributing to education beyond our own Trust.

School Improvement
We support schools to strengthen leadership, improve provision and secure sustained improvement over time. This includes direct support, system leadership and collaboration across schools to share expertise and develop practice.

Teaching School Hub
Exceed Teaching School Hub is designated by the Department for Education as part of the national Teaching School Hub network. Working with partners and lead providers, the Hub facilitates the delivery of teacher training and professional development programmes across the region.
This ensures that schools and staff can access high-quality, evidence-informed programmes as part of a national framework.

Initial Teacher Training
Our Initial Teacher Training, delivered through Exceed SCITT, prepares the next generation of teachers through high-quality, school-led training and strong partnerships.
This work is complemented by collaboration across our schools, ensuring that trainees benefit from shared expertise and strong professional support.
Professional Development
We provide a wide range of professional development opportunities, combining national programmes with Trust-wide networks, collaboration and peer support.
This includes structured development, specialist training, collaborative networks and opportunities for staff to share expertise and strengthen practice across schools.
Research and Innovation
We contribute to the development of education through research, innovation and collaboration, including our work in artificial intelligence and wider Trust-led initiatives.
This work supports schools to explore new approaches, develop practice and respond to emerging priorities.
Working Beyond Our Schools
As an outward-facing Trust, we work in partnership with schools, trusts and organisations across the region to support improvement and share expertise.
Through this work, we combine national programmes with local collaboration, ensuring that schools benefit from both system-wide support and strong professional networks.
