Bowling Park Primary School Praised for High Standards and Aspirational Environment

Bowling Park Primary School has been commended by Ofsted for its high standards, inclusive values, and aspirational culture, following an inspection on 24–25 June 2025.

Inspectors praised the school’s calm and purposeful environment, underpinned by its motto “Being the Best at Bowling Park”. Pupils were recognised as curious, respectful, and motivated to succeed.

Key strengths identified included:

  • Personal Development: Opportunities such as “70 Things to do at Bowling Park Primary School” enrich children’s experiences and build character.
  • Reading and Literacy: A love of reading is fostered through events like the Festival of Stories.
  • Curriculum and Mathematics: A broad and ambitious curriculum, alongside strong teaching, helps pupils build knowledge logically and apply it with confidence.
  • SEND Support: Effective systems ensure pupils with additional needs thrive.
  • Attendance and Behaviour: Strong processes have improved attendance and reduced persistent absence.
